Configuring Aconex Connection
Note:
This topic is applicable only if your organization has purchased the Construction and Engineering Analytics module.Construction and Engineering Analytics can display projects from multiple Aconex data sources, supporting up to 1000 Aconex project fields
Before scheduling ingestion runs, select the project fields that you want available for creating data visualizations and dashboards .
The project fields are grouped under three tabs: Textual, Numerical, and Date. You can select up to 150 project fields in total.
- Textual: Text, Text Area, Select List Single, Select List Multiple, and Yes/No
- Numerical: Length, Time, Percentage, Area, Currency, and Temperature
- Date
Additional Information
- In the Repository Definition (RPD) file, selected fields appear in the relevant Project Fields folder of each subject area.
- All project fields selected for Construction and Engineering Analytics from projects involving the logged-in user’s organization will appear in the relevant Project Fields folder for each subject area in the RPD (e.g., fields linked to Mails appear under the Mail subject area).
- If a dashboard includes a project field from a project the user cannot access, that field will display blank values in charts and tables.
