Delete Notebook Topics dialog box

Overview

When you delete a notebook topic, you can choose whether to reassign existing descriptions associated with that topic to a different notebook topic.

Screen Elements

Append associated descriptions to

Allows existing descriptions associated with the notebook topic to be retained and appended to a different notebook topic that you select.

Delete notebook topic and associated descriptions

Deletes the notebook topic and all associated descriptions.

Note:

You should choose this option only if you are confident that the notebook topic is redundant and that no useful data will be lost if the notebook and all its associated descriptions are deleted. Deleting a notebook topic cannot be undone.

Tip:

Tips

When you delete a notebook topic, if you choose to append its associated descriptions to another notebook topic, descriptions with no text are ignored.

Getting Here

1. On the Navigation Menu, expand Administration and click Enterprise Data.
2. On the Enterprise Data page, expand Projects and click Notebook Topics.
3. Hover over a notebook topic you want to delete and on the Context menu, select Delete.
