Adding Detailed Project-Level Risks
Add project risks to capture potential threats or opportunities that might impact your project, and to perform qualitative analysis to reduce or eliminate negative impact on the project.
Note:
If a risk scoring matrix is not assigned to the project, you can add general risk information to the Risks page, but you will not be able to enter values for probability, schedule and cost, which are values used to generate the risk score.
To add detailed project-level risks:
Tip:
- You can copy existing risks to create new risks. If you copy an existing risk to the same project, all data, including response plans and associated activities, is retained. If you copy an existing risk to a different project, activity associations are removed. If the project does not have the same risk scoring matrix assigned, then the probability and impact fields (schedule, cost, and user defined) are cleared.
- Click the Probability and Impact Diagram detail window to view the risk scoring matrix assigned to the project.
