Entering Life Cycle Information

To select a life cycle for an item:

1. On the Life Cycle tab of the New Item Wizard, from the Life Cycle drop-down list, select the life cycle that you want to apply to the new item.

   When you choose a life cycle, its phases are shown in the Phases area. If the chosen life cycle has a description, it is shown in the Description area.

   If you want to create a new life cycle, select <New Life Cycle>. For more information on using the Life Cycle Wizard, refer to Adding Life Cycle Phases.

2. Select Next to proceed to the next tab of the wizard, or select Finish to save the item and exit the wizard.
