Resolving Conflicts When Importing a Package

To resolve conflicts when importing a package:

1. Click the name of an object to view a description of the existing object and a description of the package object in the Description of area.
2. Click the checkbox for each object you want to override in your existing database.

   Or

   Click Check All to override all the conflicting objects in your database.

   Note:

   Click Uncheck All to uncheck all the items currently checked.

3. Click Import to continue the import process, which involves storing the imported objects. When the import process completes, a confirmation message is displayed.
4. Click OK.

It is also possible to create a conflict report file. Once created, you can print the report, and/or send it to the package supplier. This is especially important if you choose to obtain an updated package in order to resolve the conflicts.
