Making a New Custom Report Appear in Navigation

If you must change the location of Oracle Analytics Server custom reports, follow these steps to make newly defined reports appear:

  1. Go to the Company Workspace tab, and switch to Admin mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, select Configuration, and then select User Mode Navigator.

    Note:

    If the company uses the default User Mode Navigator (that is, the company has not defined a custom User Mode Navigator), you will be able to see the report name under Access Control of the project.

  3. Open the project or shell User Mode Navigator.
  4. In the dialog box, find the newly created Oracle Analytics Server reports on the right side and move them to a desired location in the left Navigator.
  5. Save the changes and close the window.
  6. Select the project or shell User Mode Navigator, and select Deploy to ensure the changes take effect.
  7. After deploying the navigator, sign out and then sign in, go to Access Control, and assign permissions for the new custom report.

    Note:

    Oracle Analytics Server User Group requirement: To be able to create reports, users must be added to the Oracle Analytics Server Author user group in Primavera Administration.
