Making a New Custom Report Appear in Navigation
If you must change the location of Oracle Analytics Server custom reports, follow these steps to make newly defined reports appear:
- Go to the Company Workspace tab, and switch to Admin mode.
- In the left Navigator, select Configuration, and then select User Mode Navigator.
Note:
If the company uses the default User Mode Navigator (that is, the company has not defined a custom User Mode Navigator), you will be able to see the report name under Access Control of the project.
- Open the project or shell User Mode Navigator.
- In the dialog box, find the newly created Oracle Analytics Server reports on the right side and move them to a desired location in the left Navigator.
- Save the changes and close the window.
- Select the project or shell User Mode Navigator, and select Deploy to ensure the changes take effect.
- After deploying the navigator, sign out and then sign in, go to Access Control, and assign permissions for the new custom report.
Note:
Oracle Analytics Server User Group requirement: To be able to create reports, users must be added to the Oracle Analytics Server Author user group in Primavera Administration.
