Updating Company Settings on the Support Tab

In the Support tab, you can provide users with the email address or phone number of your internal support staff. This information is displayed in error messages that users might encounter if their accounts become locked, on the Contact tab of the Support window, and at the bottom of email notifications. The email notification information can include a hyperlink to your local support resources. For information about translating Email Notifications, see Internationalization (Email Notifications).

If your company is part of the eLearning suite of interactive tutorials, you can provide users with access information in the Support tab. You can also use the fields to provide a location, such as an internal website, where you provide Unifier training materials.

If you have an Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) subscription, you can configure or update OGL settings in Unifier to use the server that hosts your organization’s content, including supported regional domains. You can also use User Attribute fields to define user contexts and sharing. If your organization previously enabled OGL and you do not make changes, OGL continues to use the default U.S. server, whether you provided an App ID or left the App ID blank. For more information about OGL, see Oracle Guided Learning.

Note:

  • If no user attributes are selected, OGL continues to operate with anonymous users.
  • The User Attribute Fields list includes only data elements (DEs) with the following data definition (DD) types:
    • Name is Integer Amount
    • Name is Decimal Amount
    • Name is Date Picker
    • Name is Date Only Picker
    • Data Type is Text and Input Type is Text Box
    • Input Type is Pull-down Menu
