Adding Attachments to the Line Item

  1. Go to the shell tab, and switch to User mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, select Logs and open a Document-type BP without folder structure.
  3. Open a record. The record General tab opens, by default.
  4. Select the Line Items <line items> tab.
  5. On the right pane, select the Attachments tab.

When you create a line item, the system allows you to use Attach Files "" to attach a file to your record. After you save the line item, the Attachments tab appears for the record.

The Attachments tab provides additional details about an attachment in the following columns:

You can preview the file in the Attachments tab. Select Expand "" to maximize the window and see the file preview.

  • Envelope Code
  • Revised

  • Issue Date

  • Location

In addition, if there is a revision to an attachment, the following columns are displayed in the Revisions block:

  • Publish (select or deselect)

  • Comments
  • Ref.
  • Pub. No.
  • Upload Date
  • Size
  • Upload By
  • Rev. No.
  • Issue Date

Use the gear menu ("") next to the file to:

Note:

After saving the line item, you must use the gear menu, next to the attachment (file), to remove the attachment. Use Delete "" to remove your attachment prior to saving the line item.

  • Open in AutoVue (You can also open an attachment by double-clicking the name of the attachment)
  • Download
  • Revise
  • Remove
