Creating a BP Record with Attachments From Aconex Mail (Cloud Only)
Aconex Mail correspondence may result in the need for a business process record to be created within Unifier. To save time and reduce errors, the business process is automatically created from Aconex mail, including all details and attachments. This ensures both systems are connected with accurate information. The following procedure automates the handoff, such as creating a Change Request in Unifier.
You can start a business process from any Aconex mail that your organization has sent or received.
Prerequisites
This feature is available to customers hosted in OCI multi-tenant environments only.
Ensure the following:
- The project in Aconex and Unifier is linked in the Lobby. For more information, see "Link Projects that are Managed in Multiple Applications" in the Oracle Construction and Engineering Lobby Help
- You have access to the project in both Aconex and Unifier.
- You have the Start Unifier Business Process permission granted to your Aconex user role.
- You have the permission to create a business process in Unifier per assignment in the workflow setup within the project. Permissions are assigned in the workflow setup within the project. For more information, see Workflow Setup in Company-Level BPs or Project-Level BPs.
