1 Introduction

The interface that integrates Unifier with an external system uses Representational State Transfer (REST) web services.

This section describes how to use the web services for the following tasks:

• Integrate and transfer data
• Use codes in web services
• Interpret return values

Within the documentation, some content applies only to cloud deployments while other content is relevant for on-premises deployments. Any content that applies to only one of these deployments is labeled accordingly.
