Cash Flow by Commitment and Cash Flow Family Curves for Actuals (Spends) Curve
For Actuals, or spends, curve in cash flow by business process (Commitments), the following business processes (BPs) use the effective date for costed line items:
- Base Commits
- Change Commits
- Payment Application BPs of the Summary Payment Application SOV type
If the Detail Form design includes the Effective Date (uuu_effective_date) field, the system uses this date as the effective date for the Costed Line Items. If the field is not included, the system uses the workflow End Date for the Cash Flow.
Projects can use eligible cost breakdown structure (CBS)-only BP actuals as an Actual Cost source for earned value management (EVM). During EVM calculation, Unifier uses
uuu_effective_date to assign the actual amount to the applicable EVM month. This behavior is consistent with the period-assignment behavior for CBS and work breakdown structure (WBS) BP actuals.
Note:
The Cost Sheet column is an Actual Cost-only input. It does not update Budget at Completion (BAC), Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), Activity Sheet values, or other EVM measures. For Actuals, or spends cash flow curves, you can view the following amounts based on the cash flow detail level:
- CBS and Summary CBS: View the Costed Amount.
- Project/Shell: View the Line Item amount.
