Creating Rules and Rules Templates

All new rules are created in a similar way. You can create rules and rules templates manually or by copying from another rule or template.

Rules can also be added to existing active and on-hold projects/shells by updating ("pushing") them from a project/shell template using Update Projects or Update Shells.

To start using a rule after it has been created, it must be validated and activated. After creating rules, see Validating and Activating Rules.
