Granting Planning Setup Permissions

After you have created a default sheet structure and activated the planning type, grant yourself and other users setup permission to the Planning Manager.

To grant setup permissions:

1. Go to the Company Workspace tab, and switch to Admin mode.
2. In the left Navigator, select User Administration, and then select Access Control.
   • For a Planning Manager at the company level, expand User Mode Access, expand Company Workspace, and then select Planning Manager.
   • For a Planning Manager at the project/shell level, expand User Mode Access, expand Projects/Shells, expand Setup, and then select Planning Manager.
3. In the Module Permission Settings window, select Add. The Permission/Access Control window opens.
4. Select Add Users/Groups. The User/Group Picker opens.
5. Select the user(s) to whom you want to give configuration permission, and select Add. Then select OK.

   The system adds the name(s) to the Permission/Access Control window.

6. Under Permission Settings, select Setup, and select OK. The system adds the name(s) to the Permission Settings window.
7. Select OK.
