Impact of Base Currency on Currency for Shells or Templates in Source and Destination

When you import a configuration package that includes different currencies, you must decide how the system should process changes. For example, if the package contains new templates or shells that are set to use a currency that does not match the destination’s Base Currency setting, the system automatically selects the checkbox in the Replace Shell Currency in Destination column includes a check box. If you want the new Shell Templates or Single Instance Shells included in the package to retain their different currency settings, you must deselect (clear) the check box.

The following table provides examples that show the effect of currency settings.
