Document Manager [Company Documents]

This setting: Allows users to:
Full Access
  • Access all files and all folders regardless of local permissions on individual folders or files
  • Lock/unlock first level folders
Create Create folders under the root Company Documents folder and modify folders created as subfolders to the root. (Subfolder permissions are managed locally in the Document Manager.)
Organize
  • Modify the properties and position of folders under the root
  • Organize all folders in a project, regardless of folder-level permissions, using the Organize Folders function

View the Document Manager and Company Documents nodes; required as the minimum user permission before any permission access (in User mode) to files or folders can be given.

Note:

This permission setting only grants the user the ability to view the Company Documents node. The user must also be granted permission at the folder or document level in User mode in order to view specific folders or documents.

Document Manager [Published Documents]

This setting: Allows users to:
Allow Quick Calendar Entry

Enter a reservation directly on the calendar for a Document Manager record.

If the BP has not been calendar-enabled in uDesigner, this permission will not appear on the list.

This setting: Allows users to:

Modify Record Ownership

Transfer ownership of a record from one user to another. The user with this permission setting does not need to be the current owner/creator.

Note:

If the business process has not been calendar-enabled in uDesigner, this permission will not appear on the list.
Terminate Workflow

Terminate a BP record. This permission overrides the “Do not allow creator/owner to terminate record” option in the Business Process Configuration window.

Note:

Do not use this permission for single-record BPs.
Modify Step Assignment Update the step assignments
View All Records View all records in the logs, no matter what users were involved in the workflow, partner or sponsor company
View Company Records View all records created by, sent to, or copied to any user in your company
View User Records View only those records the user created, received, was copied on, or for which the user participated in the workflow
View Hidden Comments View comments marked as “hidden”
Hide Record Audit Log Hide the audit log information of a record

Allow Bulk Edit Update the workflow status of all BPs in a shell or project, or edit multiple records with similar edits
Add General Comments

Add a general comment to any BP record they can view (workflow or non-workflow), regardless of the workflow step, and regardless of the assignee or Cc settings. With this permission, any user with view permission for the BP can add a general comment to the form, even if the business process is at a terminal or terminated status.

The user does not have to be an assignee or cc’d user. If the user is an assignee, s/he can add comments to the BP without accepting the task.

Note:

Use this permission selectively. This permission is best for someone, such as a project manager, who may need to comment on BP steps that s/he is not normally a participant in, but who has view permissions for.

Disable Record Copy Prevent copying of the record

Reports [User-Defined]

This setting: Allows users to:
Access All Projects Add all projects to user defined reports
Full Access Access all UDRs created for the project, regardless of owner. User can edit, change permissions, or delete reports.
Create All Create any company-level user-defined report (UDR)
Create Permission Based Create company-level UDRs for which permission is granted
View View reports
