Upper Form Options
For each type of BP, there are two types of Upper Forms sub-nodes. One Upper Forms sub-node is under the Templates node, and the other Upper Forms sub-node is under the Requestor node. Both Upper Forms have the same tabs and fields. The following explains the Upper Forms sub-node that is under the Requestor node.
To access the Upper Forms sub-node that is under the Requestor node for most BPs:
- Go to the Company Workspace tab, and switch to Admin mode.
- In the left Navigator, select uDesigner, and then select Business Processes.
- Open the applicable BP.
- In the left Navigator, select Upper Forms.
- Select the applicable form.
- From the toolbar, select Properties.
The upper form design has the following tabs:
- General tab
- Options tab
To access the Upper Forms sub-node that is under the Requestor node for the RFB BP:
- Go to the Company Workspace tab, and switch to Admin mode.
- In the left Navigator, select uDesigner, and then select Business Processes.
- Open the applicable RFB BP.
- In the left Navigator, select Templates, Requestor, or Bidder; and then select Upper Forms.
- Select the applicable form.
- From the toolbar, select Properties.
The upper form design has the following tabs:
- General tab
- Options tab

The following applies to both workflow and non-workflow type BPs.
The General tab has the following fields:
In the General tab, enter a valid upper form name in the Name field, provide a brief description, and specify whether this will be an action form (Action Form) or a read-only view form (View Form).
- Name (contains the name of the upper form)
- Description (contains a brief description for the upper form)
- View Form (indicating a read-only view form)
- Action Form (indicating an action form)
The Options tab has the following fields, based on the following BP types:
- Cost
- Document
- Test
- Line Item
- Simple
- RFB
- Resource
- Resource Booking
- Timesheet
- Project/Shell Creation
- Simple
- Line Item
