Functional Integration Workflows

The integration between Primavera P6 EPPM and Primavera Unifier, managed through Oracle Integration, synchronizes key project management data synchronized between both systems. This ensures data consistency, streamlines project controls, and improves collaboration across teams.

1. Resources Roles Flow

  • Ensures that the latest resources (labor, equipment, materials) and roles created or updated in Primavera P6 EPPM are reflected in Primavera Unifier's Master Rate Sheet, maintaining consistency across systems.
  • Transfers associated work rates (cost per unit, pay rates, etc.) from Primavera P6 EPPM to Primavera Unifier, enabling accurate cost estimation and forecasting in project controls workflows.
  • Provides a unified view of resource and role definitions, supporting better allocation, resource planning, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Activities Flow

  • Retrieves and synchronizes the project’s enterprise project structure (EPS), work breakdown structure (WBS), and their hierarchy from Primavera P6 EPPM for accurate alignment in Primavera Unifier.
  • Transfers scheduled activities and their related resource assignments (who, what, when) from Primavera P6 EPPM to Primavera Unifier, ensuring tasks and responsibilities are consistent across systems.
  • Maintains up-to-date project execution details in Primavera Unifier as updates occur in Primavera P6 EPPM, supporting downstream processes such as cost management, reporting, and vendor/task coordination.

3. Activity Actuals Flow

  • Updates activity actuals in Primavera P6 EPPM with dates recorded in Primavera Unifier, ensuring Primavera P6 EPPM schedules accurately reflect real-world project progress.
  • Enables construction teams to update activity progress in Primavera Unifier (often closer to the field), which is then reliably communicated back to centralized Primavera P6 EPPM schedules for unified reporting.
  • Facilitates accurate earned value calculations, variance analysis, and progress tracking by keeping actual dates and progress statuses updates between Primavera Unifier and Primavera P6 EPPM.
