Technical Overview
This accelerator is an event-driven Oracle Integration project that is used to integrate Oracle Primavera Cloud resources, roles, rates, activities, assignments, and spreads with Primavera Unifier. Each integration run is controlled by the request payload, which specifies what data to synchronize and for which projects.
What Gets Synchronized
The delivered integrations synchronize the following:
- Reference data (Master Rate Sheet): resources, roles, and work rates
- Schedule data (Activity sheet): project details, WBS, activities, assignments
- Spreads: activity spreads and assignment spreads
Delivered Integrations
This accelerator delivers two main integrations plus a few helper integrations.
Main integrations:
-
Oracle OPC Unifier Resources Roles Sync
Synchronizes resources, roles, and work rates into the Primavera Unifier Master Rate Sheet.
-
Oracle OPC Unifier Activity Sync
Synchronizes project details and schedule data (WBS, activities, assignments) into Primavera Unifier.
Helper integrations:
-
Oracle OPC Unifier Activity and Assignment Spreads
Runs after the Oracle OPC Unifier Activity Sync to upload activity and assignment spreads, and can optionally trigger project recosting in Primavera Unifier.
-
Primavera Unifier resolve tenancy metadata service
Used automatically to resolve required headers / path variations for API calls (especially when Primavera Unifier is multi-tenant).
-
Primavera Unifier status update service
Used automatically to publish job status updates (Started / Completed / Failed) back to Primavera Unifier, when enabled by the triggering request.
Running Order / Dependency
The main integrations must be run in the following order:
- Run Oracle OPC Unifier Resources Roles Sync first.
- Run Oracle OPC Unifier Activity Sync second.
Note:
The reason the integrations must be run in this order is that the Oracle OPC Unifier Activity Sync depends on resources/roles being available in Primavera Unifier.
Integration Technology
These integrations use the Oracle Primavera Cloud Adapter for Oracle Primavera Cloud operations, and the standard REST Adapter for Primavera Unifier APIs and supporting Oracle Primavera Cloud endpoints where needed.
To use these integrations, you need to install the accelerator and configure the connections and other resources. Then, activate and run the integrations using the Oracle Integration interface or REST API.
