General Configuration
Some configuration in Primavera Unifier and Oracle Identity Cloud Service is required before you can set up and use this recipe.
Create Integration Users
For each of the delivered connections in this recipe, you will need to create a dedicated integration user in Primavera Unifier. For details, see Creating Integration Users.
This recipe delivers two connections that connect to Primavera Unifier. One connection uses the Primavera Unifier Adapter, and the other connection uses the REST Adapter. To prevent 401 authorization errors from Primavera Unifier, each connection needs to use a separate integration user.
After you create the required integration users, this is how you will use them in this recipe:
- For the integration user used with the Primavera Unifier Adapter connection, you will specify the credentials of this integration user when you configure the Unifier Adapter Connection.
- For the integration user used with the REST Adapter connection, you need to generate a Base64-encoded version of the user credentials. After you encode the credentials, you will use the encoded username and password value in the access token request of the delivered Primavera Unifier Rest Connection, as documented in these sections:
Note:
In addition to these connections requiring a separate integration user, these integration users should not be used by other clients, such as Postman, etc. This is also to avoid 401 authorization errors from Primavera Unifier.Get Relevant Permissions
Ensure that you have the relevant permissions in Primavera Unifier to configure Oracle Integration.
To set these permissions in Primavera Unifier:
- Go to the Company Workspace and switch to Admin mode.
- In the left Navigator, select User Administration, then select Access Control.
- In the right page, expand Administration Mode Access, expand Integrations, and then select Oracle Integration Cloud.
Add Primavera Unifier as a Trusted Application in Oracle Identity Cloud Service
Ensure that Primavera Unifier is added as a trusted application using the Client credentials grant type, in the Oracle Identity Cloud Service instance used with Oracle Integration.
This is typically done with the help of Oracle Support, as described in Initial Oracle Integration Setup in the Primavera Unifier documentation.
