Create and Edit a Historic Storm Model
You can create a historic storm model based on historic outage information. The historic model can then be used in new storm models to help provide more accurate estimations.

Log in to Oracle Utilities Analytics Insights.
-
Click Explore > Storm > ERT. The Storm ERT dashboard displays.
-
                                                Click Historic Storm Model.
-
In the Create Historical Storm Model dialog that displays, enter a value in each field. All of this information can be edited later. -
Model Name: Create a distinct name for the historic storm model. For example, you could create a name that contains a month and year, such as "Maggie June 2022".
-
Start of Storm Date/Time: Indicate the date and time when the storm entered your service area.
-
Storm Cut-off Date/Time: Indicate the date and time after which new outages will be excluded from the storm model. This is usually the date and time when the storm left your service area, but not always. See Storm Cut-Off Date and Time for more information.
-
Affected Zone(s): Select one or more zones in your service area that were affected by the storm.

-

-
Click Save. The model is added to the list of storm models in the dashboard and categorized in the Historic state. Outage information from your connected outage management system should be loaded into the model based on the start date, end date, and zone information you entered.
You can edit the historic model as well as approve and archive it. See Create and Edit a Storm Model or Approve and Archive a Storm Model for more information.
