Solution Overview

The technical aspects involved in the integration between Oracle Human Capital Management and Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service for Employee, Job(Craft), and Employee Absence (Leave) are:

• The integration layer is made up of integration processes deployed on Oracle Integration Cloud.

• The integration processes interact with other applications using the following adapters:

• Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud Adapter to receive files from Oracle Human Capital Management application. It gets the files created by the HCM Extract which is delivered to Oracle UCM for Bulk Employee, Job and Employee Absence Synchronizations.

• The adapter also subscribes to Oracle Human Capital Management atom feeds to track changes made for Employee incremental updates.

• REST adapter to interact with Oracle HCM REST APIs.

• Oracle Utilities Adapter to interact with WACS REST APIs.

• The integration pattern used for the solution is:

• One-way asynchronous for all flows.
