Considerations
Below are important considerations and known limitations for this integration:
In Oracle Utilities Network Management System, there is a concept of events that can create one or more activity. In Oracle Field Service, there are only individual activities that are identified by activityId.
To adhere to the Oracle Utilities Network Management System structure, Oracle Field Service is using linked activities.
A field resource in Oracle Field Service can have multiple workskills or workzones. Oracle Utilities Network Management System is limited to one per resource. Therefore, during synchronization, only the first one found is being sent to Oracle Utilities Network Management System.
Oracle Field Service is limited to 10 attachments per activity.
Oracle Utilities Network Management System operator can delete all attachments, but Oracle Field Service crew can only delete the attachment from their activity.
