Synchronization of Projects, Subprojects, and Tasks Between WACS and Oracle Assets

To perform any operation on project assets in Oracle Fusion ERP, the asset must be associated with a project. When the project asset operations are performed through Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service, the project in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service should be in synchronization with the corresponding Oracle Fusion ERP project, which is synchronization between the Oracle Fusion ERP project and Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service parent project, Oracle Fusion ERP task and Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service project has to be maintained.

Note: Project sync integration is not part of the current release, hence the Sync must be maintained manually.

• Populate the ERP Project Number in the ERP Reference Number field in the parent project in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service.

• Populate the ERP Task Number in the ERP Reference Number field in the project in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service.

Make sure the Project ID created in Oracle Fusion ERP is not more than 14 characters as Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service Project BO is currently accepting 14 characters for the ERP Reference Number field.
