File Storage Configuration

If the WAM File-Storage Method is used for the references to attachments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage, a File Storage Configuration extendable lookup must be configured in the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service. For this, you may need help from the tenancy administrator to obtain some of the required values. The details recorded in the extendable lookup in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service must match the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage details recorded in an application in Oracle Field Service.

The File Storage Configuration extendable lookup should be created with:

• The File Adapter set to “Oracle Cloud Object Storage”.

• The User, Tenancy, Compartment, Namespace, and Region Key populated with the appropriate Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage details. Note these details should match those used by Oracle Field Service.

• The Key Ring generated in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service and uploaded into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Ask your tenancy administrator to perform this task.

• The Bucket Name prefix left empty.
