Previous releases of FieldWork PIP only supported badged items being sent between Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management/Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management v2.1.x and Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management v2. With this release, there is support for unbadged items as well.

For these activities originating from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management, a badge number would not be present for these assets. A new activity type to support unbadged items has to be configured to route to Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management.

As part of the Work order integration points these unbadged items get initiated from the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management/Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management and field work can be performed on the same from Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management. Activity originated from Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management is canceled or completed from Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management.
