Bill Ready Notification FAQs
Why am I receiving these emails?
You signed up for paperless Bill Ready Notifications through our utility website. The emails let you know when your bill is ready to view or pay. Each email contains your balance, when the payment is due, and a link to view and pay your paperless bill. Depending on your situation, you may also see what factors have influenced your bill.
How are the emails related to my billing cycle?
You will receive a Bill Ready Notification in your email inbox as soon as your paperless bill is ready for review or payment.
How was I selected to be a part of the program?
You elected to receive Bill Ready Notifications by enrolling in the online paperless billing program through our utility's website.
Can I opt out of the program?
Yes. If you wish to no longer receive Bill Ready Notifications, you must enroll in paper billing.

Can I opt back in after I have opted out?
Yes. If you are on paper billing and wish to receive electronic bills, you may enroll again in Bill Ready Notifications.

How can I update my email address for the emails?
I can direct you to our utility's preference management website where you can update your email address.

How can I improve the accuracy of my billing breakdown?
There are several ways to update your household’s profile information. If you have access to the Oracle Utilities Opower Energy Efficiency Web Portal, you can tell us more about your home by taking the Home Energy Analysis survey. The answers to the survey should update the billing breakdown after your next billing cycle. I can also help you update your profile.
Note to CSRs: You can use the Customer Service Interface to make basic changes to a customer's home profile. See Updating a Customer's Home Profile for more information.
Can I receive these emails as text messages?
No. Bill Ready Notifications can only be sent through email.
