A summary of the noteworthy Oracle Energy and Water Data Exchange additions and enhancements is provided below.
25.5
- Performance Improvements on Dynamic Related Entities for AI Data Preparation: Keeping queries simple and straightforward is important when preparing data for Generative AI retrieval. The Dynamic Related Entities previously supported the dynamic connection of data that eliminates the need to understand the joins between data. With the 25.5 release, the Dynamic Related Entities view has been converted to a Materialized View to improve query performance when consuming the results. The REFRESH_DYNAMIC_RELATED_ENTITIES procedure has been delivered to enable this refresh.
- Query-Ready Ontologies Available in the Data Exchange Data Store: The ontologies that power the Energy and Water Industry Model are now in the DE_ONTOLOGY table in each Collection that you create. These can be queried with SQL and JSON SQL functions provided in the Oracle Autonomous Database. The ontologies provide the industry context that can be added to Generative AI prompts or fine-tuning to drive deeper industry knowledge into answers to user questions.
- OCI Console Connection Information Improvements: The connection information for the Data Exchange Data Store has been streamlined and aligned with the user guide instructions to enable an easier experience with connecting to the Data Store. This simplifies the tasks of leveraging certain OCI Console connection information, which saves time when initially connecting to a Data Store.
