Set Up Prerequisite OCI Resources and Data Exchange Resources

You must prepare your OCI setup in the OCI Console before you can begin using the Data Exchange database.

Prerequisite Setup Steps

1. Set up all prerequisite resources required in OCI.

2. Create a Data Exchange and create a Data Store, or use instances that you have already created.

Setup Specific to this Tutorial

1. Create an Asset and name it UTILITYCO_CUSTOMER and provide a schema of UTILITYCO_CUSTOMER. This resource stores your raw system data.

2. Connect to your Data Store. Using a tool like SQL developer, connect to your Data Store and name your new connection UTILITYCO.
