In this release the key ring capability available to Oracle Utilities Cloud Services is now available to on-premises customers. This facility allows for security credentials to be stored securely within the product database with secure access to keys from facilities such as the Block Storage File Adapter, File Signing, File Encryption and Digital Self Service user masquerading support.

This release completes the delivery of the key ring with associated infrastructure as a complementary keystore to the file based keystores used by the Oracle Utilities Application Framework and Oracle WebLogic.
