Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Management Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Management

Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Management provides the core functionality for utilities to create, run, and maintain distributed energy resource programs as part of a larger distributed energy resource management system (DERMS), or other asset/device control programs.

A license to Oracle Utilities Digital Asset Management also includes restricted use licenses to:

  • Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter
  • Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management

The restricted use license of Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter is restricted to functionality that supports distributed energy resource programs, and excludes the use of Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter for other processes, including but NOT limited to: processing data for the purpose of billing (including interval data or corresponding register reads and daily scalar billing in which meter data is uploaded and validated daily), billing and rating, program management, device event processing, smart meter commands, non-billing aggregations.

The restricted use license of Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management is restricted to the following functional areas as described in the program documentation:

  • Asset Management
  • Operational Device Management
  • Inventory
  • Purchasing
  • Service History
  • Work Management
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Scheduling
  • Approvals
  • Resource Usage
  • Financials

The restricted use license of Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management excludes the following functional areas:

  • WAM Reports
  • Construction Work

  • Oracle WebLogic Server Enterprise Edition
