Rate Engine Plus

The Oracle Utilities Opower Rate Engine Plus cloud service is an add-on that offers an enhanced version of the standard Oracle Utilities Opower Rate Engine. Compared to the standard Rate Engine, Rate Engine Plus offers the following benefits:

• Rate Engine Plus does not require rates modeling, and therefore allows for faster Rates Engagement setup and deployment.
• While the standard Rate Engine accurately computes energy use costs, Rate Engine Plus is able to account for additional factors that may affect a customer's energy bill, such as taxes and fees. This ensures customers are less likely to see a discrepancy between their utility bill and the Rates Engagement cost insights in Oracle Utilities Opower products.
