Embedded SDK

The Digital Self Service - Transactions embedded SDK enables utilities to embed individual widgets onto their existing websites in a standardized way. In this setup, the utility owns and maintains the web portal, the layout of pages, and can determine the exact locations where they would like to place Digital Self Service - Transactions widgets. The embedded SDK provides the utility's website with the required methods for authorization, event handling, and access to critical user details. For example, when a Digital Self Service - Transactions widget like the account selector is used by a customer to switch accounts, the new account selection event is broadcast and the utility's own widgets and web portal pages can respond accordingly. This deployment method allows for utilities and partners to maintain control of the web portal and deliver custom features for their customers.
