Configuring Unit Types
Unit types are defined by the following:
Master Business Object
Valid Point Types
Valid Characteristic Types
Unit Type Characteristics
To configure a unit type:
1. Open the Admin menu. Select Historian, Unit Types, and select Add.
2. When the configuration window opens, complete the required fields. Valid Point Types, Valid Characteristic Types, and Unit Type Characteristics are only required if you click the plus sign (+) to add these properties to the unit type.
3. Click Save to add the new unit type.
