Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management Integration Suite for Residential Customers

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management Suite contains a set of SOAP and REST APIs that belong to the web service category of 'Integration Suite APIs' and corresponding Service Scripts that are secured with the 'Integration Suite API' Application Service by default. These may be used to integrate to other products or solutions.

Oracle Utilities Information Lifecycle Management for Meter Data

Oracle Utilities Information Lifecycle Management for Meter Data contains a set of processes to support Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) for a number of high volume transactional data objects. The processes identify eligible historical records to facilitate the migration of data to lower cost storage or archived database.

Components provided with ILM including batch jobs, algorithms, and database columns are restricted and CANNOT be used to develop custom archiving processes.

 

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (Restricted Use)

Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) Rating & Billing for Interval Data for Residential Customers and Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing Rating & Billing for Interval Data for Commercial and Industrial Customers include licenses to Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (Restricted Use) and Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing Integration to Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management. Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (Restricted Use) is restricted to the following functions solely to support use of billing functions in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing:

Any other use is NOT included and requires a separate full use license for Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management.

 

 

 

Note: This restricted use license allows customers to create custom rules to support validating and estimating interval measurements and creating bill determinants from interval data. This license does NOT allow customers to create custom components related to other processes such as processing scalar / register read data, TOU meter register, device events, smart meter commands, non-billing aggregations, service orders, reader remarks, exporting data to other non-CC&B systems, etc.

 

* Interval data is defined as meter readings or quantities read at fixed time periods of at least once per hour (interval data does not include scalar/register readings or device events).

Some of the functionality provided with the Oracle Utilities Service and Measurement Data Foundation is restricted, and can only be used if specific products have been licensed.
