Getting Started with Storm Management
Storm Management enables you to manipulate the event and crew information that the system will use to make its calculations. This section describes the environment including menus, toolbar, status bar, and other common components of Storm Management.
Note: Many utilities have different rules sets configured for storms versus normal conditions, which will affect the operation of Storm Management. Changing rule sets is done using the Change Rule Set... button on the Web Workspace Authority tool. For information on changing rule sets, see “Changing the Rule Set”.
Storm Management provides different functionality and views based on the user type that you log in as.
Full Operations: provides Storm Management functionality for the operations user to edit storm, system, and crew criteria. See “Storm Management Full Operations Environment” for details of the Full Operations environment
View Only: displays the information available to the Full Operations environment in a read-only mode. See “Storm Management View Only Environment” for details.
Storm Administration: provides a post-storm data maintenance environment. See “Storm Management Storm Administration Environment” for details.
