Viewing Global Overlaps
The Global Overlaps list allows you to identify overlaps of date/time, control zone and affected assets within a specific time period for all active switching sheets.
To display the Global Overlaps list, choose Switching Overlaps... from the Tools menu.
The fields, buttons, and options on this tab are nearly identical to the Overlaps tab that is displayed for individual switching sheets. See “Using the Overlaps Tab” for more information. The global overlaps Range options will only include options that will add to the specified From date. Switching sheet overlaps include Range options that are before and after the sheet's start and finish dates. The table column labels will be followed by a 1 or 2 depending on which switching sheet the value is for.
The Global Overlaps list will initially display overlaps for the next day and any overlaps that occur over time. Use the Overlap Type column in the list to determine overlaps that have been scheduled for the same asset and/or control zone. The Asset and Control Zone overlaps will be listed at the top of the list.
To open the overlapping switching sheets, double click the entry in the list or use the right-click context menu to select options for opening Sheet #1, Sheet #2, or both sheets.
Click the Help button () to display help for the Global Overlaps tab.
