Removing Permissions from a User Type
To remove a permission from a Flex user type, select the User Type, then select the permission you wish to remove from the Current User Type Permissions column, and click the Remove Selected Permission button.
Controlling Permissions at a User Level
In addition to the permissions associated with a User Type, you can assign or deny users individual permissions using the User Additional Permissions and the User Denied Permissions panes, respectively. The two panes are analogous to the User Type Permissions pane with three columns listing users, available permissions, and permissions granted or denied for a selected user.
The User Additional Permissions pane allows you to specify that a selected user will always have a given permission regardless of what User Type they log in as.
To grant an additional permission, select the user name from the User column, select a permission to be granted for all of the user's assigned user types, and click Add Selected Permission.
You can remove an additional permission by selecting the user and the permission (in the Current User Additional Permissions column) and clicking Remove Selected Permission.
The User Denied Permissions pane allows you to specify that a selected user will not be allowed a given permission even if it is included in the User Type they log in as.
To deny a permission, select the user name from the User column, select a permission to be denied (for all of the user's assigned user types), and click Add Selected Permission.
You can remove a denied permission by selecting the user and the permission (in the Current User Denied Permissions column) and clicking Remove Selected Permission.
Both panes have a Refresh Flex Users... button that allows you to update the table.
