Adding and Modifying Comments for SCADA Status Changes
When you change the SCADA state to Inhibit, Manual Override, or Disabled in Power Flow, you can enter comments to record why the state was changed. When you initiate Inhibit or Disable in Power Flow actions, a dialog box will open allowing you to enter a comment; for Manual Override, a Comment field is available below the Value field. The comment text, user, and date and time the comment was entered will be added to the selected device's SCADA Summary row.
Existing comments may be edited by selecting the SCADA Summary row and selecting Edit Comment... from the Actions menu.
Disabling/Enabling Measurements in the Power Flow Solution
If you see anomalies in the SCADA data (for example, due to mapping issues, transducer issues, or temporal issues, and so on) where SCADA values seem potentially unhelpful in allowing PFService to solve, you can disable the suspected measurements from taking part in the power flow solution by doing the following:
1. Select the suspected measurements in the SCADA Summary.
2. Click the Disable in Power Flow button from the Actions menu or the right-click option menu. The Quality column value will be set to S for the selected measurements.
To re-enable the disabled measurements:
1. Select the disabled measurements from the SCADA Summary Tool
2. Click the Enable in Power Flow button from the Actions menu or right-click context menu. The Quality column value will be changed from S to blank for the selected measurements.
