The ANMS Conditions tab allows you to add or delete conditions in the ANMS switching sheet template. It contains the following sections:
Condition Addition Form
The Condition Addition Form allows you to select SCADA devices and their threshold values that combine to trigger an event. To add the condition to the sheet, do the following.
1. Add device information to the Device field using one of these methods:
Select the device in the Viewer and click the Link Device button ().
Enter a partial device alias and click the Device Lookup button () to open the Select SCADA Device dialog box. Select the device and click OK.
2. Select the SCADA device’s trigger attribute from the Attribute drop‑down list, which will be populated with the potential trigger attributes for the device. The selection may include analog and digital attributes.
3. Select the logical operator from the Operator drop‑down list. This will be populated with following options depending on the type of attribute selected.
Digitals: Equals
Analogs: Equals, Greater than, Less than, Greater than or equals, Less than or equals
4. Enter the threshold value in the Value field. This varies based on the attribute type.
For digitals, you may select from a drop‑down list with valid options. For example, for a device status, the drop‑down list will allow you to select either Open or Closed.
For analogs, you may enter the value manually in the text box.
5. Click the Add button () to enter the condition in the Conditions table.
6. Repeat the steps 1 through 5 to define additional trigger conditions.
Note: The Condition Addition Form is available in the ANMS template, but not on the ANMS sheet.
