Closing Previous Protection Scheme Events
When a protection scheme event is generated as a result of a background integrity check then any previous protection scheme events (whether generated as a result of a previous integrity check or as a result of a topology change) will be automatically closed by the system if they are still active and not currently in progress.
Understanding the Number of Retries for a Timed Out Step
If no response (related to a switching action) from SCADA is received within the configured timeout period, then the switch step status will be set to a value of Failed. When the Protection Scheme plan is executed in automatic mode or when the plan is manually executed using the Execute the entire plan toolbar option, the plan execution can retry a timed out step for a configurable number of times before it sets the switch step status to Failed.
