The core of the ADMS applications is the Power Flow application. Virtually all other ADMS applications require a power flow solution to be performed in order to perform their analysis.

On the real-time network, it can be configured to operate cyclically or on-demand on a feeder-by-feeder basis. It can also be used in Study Mode to analyze load flows in any configuration the operators wish to examine.
