Executing FLISR in Automatic Mode
In Automatic mode, FLISR can create and execute a switch plan without operator intervention as follows:
1. A fault occurs and a section is isolated.
2. FLISR completes its analysis and produces its solutions.
3. FLISR selects the best combination, based on a set of rules such as preferring to restore load to the same Zone Substation and avoiding violations.
4. FLISR creates a plan and executes all steps in the plan automatically. The newly generated plan's Request tab will be populated with all relevant device related data.
5. An operator can view the plan during and after execution. If the switching sheet is called up during the automatic execution, it will have been placed in View Only mode. The switching sheet may be manually augmented with additional steps after the automatic execution has completed. The switching sheet will behave like a normal Fault switching sheet after the FLISR generated steps are completed or have failed (after it is taken out of View Only mode).
After FLISR calculations have been made, the corresponding switching sheet may be called up from the Switching… option in the Work Agenda. It is possible that when you call the switching sheet up you will see the switching sheet still executing.
