Understanding Protection Scheme Events in the Work Agenda

When the NMS system update the protection scheme settings for one or more protection devices an event is created in the Work Agenda.

Event Status Codes

The protection scheme events have the following event status codes:

Status Code	Description
T-NEW	A new Protection Scheme event.
T-CNL	The protection scheme event has been canceled.
T-INC	The protection scheme event has been completed but information needs to be entered into the Event Details window.
T-CMP	The protection scheme event has been completed.

DMS Status

The events DMS Status has the following meaning:

DMS Status	Description
Protection Scheme Generated	The protection scheme event and associated switching plan have been generated.
Protection Scheme Automatically Executing	The protection scheme switching plan is currently being executed automatically by the NMS.
Protection Scheme Automatically Executed	The NMS has completed executing the protection scheme switching plan.
Protection Scheme Automatic Execution Failed	The NMS system failed to execute the protection scheme switching plan.
Protection Scheme Manually Aborted	The protection scheme switching plan was aborted.
Protection Scheme Integrity Check Generated	The protection scheme event and associated switching plan have been generated as a result of a background integrity check.
