During the generation of a Suggested Switching solution the protection settings of the protection devices will be taken into account during the evaluation of each switching step in the Suggested Switching plan. The final switching plan shall include the steps necessary to update the protection scheme settings of any protection device.

The protection scheme steps shall be placed at the beginning or end of the plan based on the configuration of the feeders Protection Scheme Mode.
