Creating AMI Requests for Existing Outage
To create an AMI request for an existing outage, follow these steps:
1. Select an existing outage in Work Agenda.
2. Select Confirm/Restore Outage|AMI Confirm from the Work Agenda Actions menu.
3. If the outage has fewer affected customers than configured limit then new AMI request is created for the meter affected by the selected event; otherwise, a message is displayed stating that the selected event has too many affected meters for a single AMI Request. AMI Customers table of the Event Details tool is opened allowing user to selected specific meters to include into request. In this case the request is created by selected AMI Confirm from Event Details Actions menu.
Note: If you attempt to create an AMI request for a customer that is part of an active AMI request, the AMI Rejected Meters dialog box is displayed. This dialog box lists the customer information associated with the meter that was rejected. Click OK to continue.
