DERMS Database Configuration

Oracle Network Management System Grid Edge DERMS uses its own dedicated database user, and optionally its own tablespace.

1. Create a new database user for DERMS data.

2. Create a new tablespace for DRMS data (if desired).

3. Create a new tnsname for this in your tnsnames.ora file.

4. Run the nms-env-config --drms-config script to set the NMS_ORACLE_DRMS_USER and RDBMS_DRMS environment variables and update the wallet.

After re-starting the terminal, you should then be able to access this schema using ISQL ‑drms.
