The NMS system shall add Disable and Enable Protection Scheme conditions on the feeders associated with the protection devices in the Suggested Switching or FLISR switching plan. The disable condition is added prior to any protection scheme updates or restoration and the condition is removed from the feeder at the end of the plan.

This prevents the NMS system from kicking in and updating the protection settings of the devices as a result of switching or background checks for the duration of the switching plan.
