Users that do not have the SCADA maintenance privilege may still want to view and control the state of the IED monitoring a given device. This can be done by selecting a device having valid Flex SCADA connections in the Viewer, then selecting SCADA Options, and then selecting the View IED... command from the context menu.

 

This will open a dialog showing the current state of the IED and allow the user the following functionality
