Understanding Device Location Types
Device location types define the details of locations of a certain type where controllable assets can be installed.
Device location types are defined by the following:
• Service Type: The type of service (such as Electric) available at device locations of this type.
• Device Location Business Object: The business object used to create device locations of this type.
• Divisions: One or more divisions associated with device locations of this type.
• Valid Controllable Device Types: A list of one or more controllable device types considered valid to be installed at device locations of this type.
