Home Energy Analysis Module

The Home Energy Analysis modules prompt the customer to answer simple questions about their home attributes and energy habits to improve their report experience. The type of module the customer receives is configurable.

  • Mini Home Energy Analysis (default): The Mini Home Energy Analysis prompts the customer to answer simple questions about their home attributes and energy habits from within the report.
  • Easy Open Home Energy Analysis: The Easy Open Home Energy Analysis encourages customers to complete the Home Energy Analysis in order to improve their report experience, and includes a call to action button that redirects the customer to the Home Energy Analysis in Digital Self Service - Energy Management where they can complete the full survey.

Requirements

Same as listed in the Requirements and Limitations. Additionally, utilities must purchase the Digital Self Service - Energy Management Cloud Service, which includes the Home Energy Analysis feature. The utility must work with Oracle Utilities Opower to launch the Home Energy Analysis survey online so customers can be redirected to it.

Mini Home Energy Analysis

This section describes the common user experience with the Home Energy Analysis module, which is the Mini Home Energy Analysis. The Mini Home Energy Analysis module prompts the customer to answer simple questions about their home attributes and energy habits from within the High Bill Alert AMI v3 report. The module creates an additional opportunity for customers to provide information that can be used to improve their report experience regardless of whether they complete the full Home Energy Analysis survey online. Header: The header notifies the customer that the Mini Home Energy Analysis gives them an opportunity to improve their report experience.

Question: The report cycles through simple Yes or No questions that the customer has not completed in the full Home Energy Analysis survey online.

Benefit Text: The benefit text emphasizes that by replying to the questions the customer improves the accuracy of their report and tips.

Response Option Buttons: The customer can respond yes or no to most module questions. The response button will redirect them to the full Home Energy Analysis survey where they can respond to additional questions.

Easy Open Home Energy Analysis

This section describes the Easy Open Home Energy Analysis, which is an available configuration option. The Easy Open Home Energy Analysis module encourages customers to complete the Home Energy Analysis survey in order to improve their energy use insights. The module creates an additional opportunity for customers to provide information that can improve the information they receive.
